Peachtree Christian told Atlanta news station WSB that Sobamowo never provided any hands-on critical care to the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.
Authorities said Sobamowo worked as a registered nurse for months around north Georgia.
Major Don Woodruff, with Duluth police, told WSB-TV that Sobamowo "presented credentials under a different name, claiming she was a registered nurse".
A tip made to law enforcement that Sobamowo was not who she claimed prompted the investigation, Maj Woodruff added.
Sobamowo faces charges in several counties.
